Farmingdale State College

Farmingdale State is a coeducational, public college dedicated to educating students in the areas of business, applied arts and sciences, health sciences and technology. Farmingdale students enjoy small, personalized classes with dedicated faculty members who can provide the individual attention that is our trademark. Founded in 1912, Farmingdale State was Long Island’s first public university and we have over 78,000 graduates. A 4-year college with 33 degree programs, each is supported by a strong liberal arts foundation and designed to prepare students for successful careers in many of today’s high demand concentrations. Our technology-enhanced classrooms provide unique learning experiences, while our athletics program offers a welcome distraction from the classroom. Making friends and building personal relationships are integral parts of life here at Farmingdale.
