Associate of Arts

The Associate of Arts  is a two-year undergraduate degree offered by many community colleges or junior colleges in Canada and the United States. Such degrees transfer to four-year institutions which offer full Bachelor of Arts degrees.

A student normally completes at least forty-eight semester hours, although most likely sixty hours, with an average of 2.0 or better to obtain an associate's degree. Three-quarters of the work shall be in the liberal arts and sciences.
